Tipping and additional information

1.- Villa Mia rents from 6 (minimum rooms) to 15 bedrooms and allows only 2 people per bedroom, except for children under 8 who can share beds with their parents.
If more than 30 people need to stay at the villa we have space in 3 bedrooms for 6 additional people: Polonia ( 2 queen beds), Italia ( 2 queen beds) and Roma (one king and one queen). The additional charge will be $70.00 USD per person per day.

2.- Should guests have visitors from outside the Villa Mia they will be charged $30.00 each to spend the day at the Villa. If the visitors are staying at our other properties “Casa Gran Dia” or “Villa Cosmica” then the charge will only be $15.00.

3.- There is a minimum 4 night stay required to rent the Villa.

4.- There is a pre-paid gratuity fee of 15% of the total rental payment. This percentage is the minimum normal tipping in Mexico and it will be required from the guest on their last payment via wire transfer (please ask for account number), or collected upon arrival. Please understand that our staff personnel are highly qualified. We have professional chefs, not cooks, and English speaking waiters. This gratuity fee includes the following services:

STAFF

a.- 2 waiters
b.- 2 cooks
c.- 2 housekeepers
d.- 1 supervisor
e.- 1 activities manager
f.- 1 gardener
g.- 1 chauffeur for grocery shopping

MEALS

Thre (3) meals a day will be served to the guests. Buffet breakfast, buffet lunch by the pool and pre-selected menu dinners (there is a meal and drinks questionnaire for guests to fill out prior to arrival were they can see and select their meals)

BAR SERVICES

In between meals all guests will enjoy bartendering services by the pool area, all day long.

ROOM CLEANING

The rooms will be cleaned twice a day, full cleaning in the morning and change of towels, trash cans and bed making in the afternoons.

SHOPPING

Our staff will grocery shop everyday for the guests meals, drinks and also for any personal requests.

ACTIVITIES MANAGER

Our manager will gladly organize any activities you request and he will also arrange for any transportation required as well as restaurant reservations etc

5.- Our services do not include the cost of any food or beverage, so in order to stock all the necessary items a pre-paid meal deposit of $2,000.00 to cover the first two days will be requested from the guest on the last payment, and it can be done the same way as the gratuities; on their last payment via wire transfer or collected upon arrival.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. It is very important that our guests agree to and understand these payment requirements before booking. The Mia must receive confirmation of this agreement and understanding.

WELCOME INFORMATION SHEET

The Villa Mia is a 15 bedroom villa located south of Puerto Vallarta, about 15 minutes from downtown. The villa has 15 bedrooms with the most beautiful and eccentric views, ranging from the wild to the blue ocean side. You will experience nature as you never have before.

Feel the ocean breeze while you are sipping a margarita in the infinity pool, or in one of the two large palapa bars. The Jacuzzi is so close to the ocean you can almost taste the salty waters and there is a pathway to a platform made by the rocks in the middle of the ocean where you can not only celebrate your wedding ceremony but also relax and enjoy the view. The villa includes a T.V. room with a table for games, and many books to read. If you prefer something more exciting you can visit the theatre room with a wide screen ready to play any movie you desire. If you are more into sports try the gym and squash court facilities while you enjoy spectacular ocean views.

VILLA RATES

The Villa Mia rents a minimum of 6 bedrooms and has a minimum 4 night requirement. If you wish to rent more than the main 6 bedrooms, you may choose among the remaining 9 bedrooms as your additional guest rooms.

DEPOSITS AND OTHER EXPENSES

SECURITY DEPOSIT: As you arrive a $500.00 US security deposit will be collected for any property damage and/or long distance phone calls made during your stay. We The deposit will be reimbursed upon your departure, after any expenses have been deducted.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE DEPOSIT: A $2,000.00 pre-meal deposit will be required to cover the meal and drink purchases for the first couple of nights. You may include this deposit with your final rental payment or you may send it prior to your visit through a wire transfer made directly to the villa or through your agent. During your stay additional money will be collected, as needed, for additional and ongoing food and beverage purchases. On your last day a statement, including all purchase receipts, will be provided and any remaining money will be returned

CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED SO PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BRING ENOUGH CASH TO COVER THESE EXPENSES OR SEND A WIRE TRANSFER PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL

The villa staff will do grocery shopping everyday for the guest meals and beverages as well as for any personal requests.

Our manager will gladly organize any activities the guest may be interested in. He will also arrange for any transportation required as well as restaurant reservations, etc.

VISITORS AND EXTRA GUESTS

The Villa Mia rents from 6 (minimum rental) to 15 bedrooms and allows only 2 people per bedroom, except for children under 8 who can share beds with their parents.
If more than 30 people need to stay at the villa there is space in 3 bedrooms for 2 additional people each: Polonia (2 queen beds), Italia (2 queen beds) and Roma (one king and one queen). The additional guests would be sharing these bedrooms and they will be charged $70.00 US per person per day.

Should you or your guest have visitors from outside Villa Mia they will be charged $30.00 each to spend the day at the Villa . If the visitors are staying at our other properties “Casa Gran Dia” or “Villa Cosmica” then the charge will only be $15.00. This money will be used to cover all the extra costs made by serving more people such as more staff maybe, extra use of towels, extra toilette items, etc.

AIRPORT TRANSFER

Please advise us if you desire airport transfer in a van instead of local airport taxis. The cost is $22.00 US round trip per person. Each van will accommodate between four and eight people. The cost per person will vary for less than 4 people. Please ask us if this is your case. Van transportation payment will be taken care of and charged to you once you arrive at the villa. The van driver will be waiting for you in the airport lobby. He will display a sign with the name of the guest the villa is reserved under.

ACTIVITIES

The Villa Mia has an Activities Manager that is ready to take care of your activities requests. Feel free to contact us or your agent and ask for any activity you desire, we will gladly inform you and make the proper reservations. Please be very careful not to make your reservations or pay via internet. We want you to have a fun and safe vacation and will make sure that your activity reservations are valid, confirmed and authentic.

SPECIAL EVENTS

If you’re having a special event such as birthday, anniversary, bachelor party, etc. please let us know before your arrival. We can arrange, at your request, Mariachis, Trios, Piñatas, special cakes, etc.
